After gaining my degrees in Biomedical Science from Southampton University in 2006 and Dentistry from Peninsula Dental School in 2011, I went on to complete two years in maxillofacial surgery as a senior house officer. This has given me the confidence to deal with a majority of surgical procedures which can be carried out in general practice.
I have worked in a number of practices around the country before settling at Triangle Dental in 2016. Since then, I have developed my training in dentistry with a variety of courses focusing on my interests in general dentistry and oral surgery. In 2018, I developed skills in facial aesthetics with Dr Bob Khanna, allowing me to provide botox and dermal filler treatments and am currently registered with the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAFFA).
In 2019, Jon and I bought the practice, determined to drive the practice forward with new technology and a keen dental team trained to deal with the majority of dental problems we come across.
After bracing what COVID brought to the country in 2020, we have since started our refurbishment plan with an extra surgery to bring down waiting times for our patients. We have also introduced new 3D Xray scanners and digital scanning technology to improve both the diagnosis and treatment plans we can offer as well as the speed of service. We continue to expand our team to help provide the best service to our patients.
Outside of dentistry, I live with my wife and two daughters and enjoy travelling, skiing, swimming and flying when I can.
Principal Dentist
Jon Cowie
Qualifications: BDS, MSc, BA GDC: 245635
Dentistry is my calling and I could not imagine doing any other job. As a Northerner from Sheffield, I qualified from Sheffield University in 2013 and since then I’ve continued to feed my passion for my work by training in complex reconstructive dentistry to rebuild worn teeth. I enjoy making the strongest possible tooth restorations look indistinguishable from natural teeth, helping my patients to have teeth that will hopefully last them a lifetime as well as improve the appearance of their smiles.
My other special interest is smile design – using my tooth restoration skills alongside the Invisalign straightening system to help my patients look and feel more confident with their appearance. I have completed an orthodontic diploma in ‘Clear Aligner Therapy’ – the highest level of training available for the Invisalign system – which has given me the experience to make smiles the best they can be.
In 2019, I took over Triangle Dental with Chris Read, the other principal Dentist. Becoming a practice owner has allowed me to put into practice my ethos for dentistry which is to provide patients with access to the highest quality care in order to find long lasting solutions for our patients’ dental needs. I also believe that good dentistry is as much about the patient as it is about treatment so I strive to ensure that all of our team creates a genuine connection with patients and makes them feel comfortable and at home in our practice.
I’m a family man and my favourite way to spend my free time is with my wife and two young daughters. As well as dental health, I’m very interested in full body health and wellbeing including exercise, strength training and pursuing a healthy diet – I even ferment my own food for a healthy gut!
Associate Dentist
Donna Judge
Qualifications: BDS, BSc GDC: 83476
I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2004. I joined Triangle Dental in 2013, having worked in private dental practices since 2006. I enjoy treating all aspects of dentistry with a preventative approach and particularly like showing patients that it can be a lot more pleasant than they anticipate. It is always so rewarding for me when nervous patients willingly return, with a smile, for more!
I am an Invisalign trained Dentist and enjoy being able to incorporate the straightening of teeth with cosmetic dentistry in a minimally invasive way.
I regularly attend courses to keep abreast of the current thinking in Dentistry and am a member of one dental study group, who meet several times a year and where I can participate in lectures from renowned world speakers.
Outside the practice, I am a keen crafter – dressmaking, knitting, making jewellery are a few examples. I am always on the look out for new crafts to try! I also enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with my family.

Suzie Boulos
Qualifications: BDS, MFDS, RCS GDC: 244343
I qualified from The University of Birmingham Dental School in 2013 before going on to gain my Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons. I have since worked in both hospital settings and private dental practices from Ascot to Guildford, before returning to my home village of Tilehurst.
Since joining Triangle in January of 2019, I have loved getting to know each of my patients, and ultimately I believe the better I come to learn your needs and your desires, the better I can ensure you achieve the level of care that you deserve.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry but have a particular interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis always on preventative dentistry. I am also a trained provider of tooth straightening systems including Invisalign.
I am passionate about providing my patients with the most enjoyable experience possible as well as providing them with exceptional dental care. In particular, I love being able to help nervous patients and children to undergo the treatment they need, ensuring they leave the chair feeling well cared for, and of course, with a smile on their face.
Away from dentistry, I love going to the gym, participating in various fitness events, cooking, long walks with our dog and spending time with family, especially since welcoming our daughter Hallie in the summer of 2022.
As well as catching up with my existing patients, I always look forward to welcoming and getting to know any new patients to the practice, and hope to help address your dental concerns with a helping hand and a friendly smile.
I am thrilled to to be part of the team at Triangle, who share my personal values of delivering the latest that dentistry has to offer whilst maintaining an empathetic and human touch. I take great pride in delivering high-quality care and will endeavour to make your dental visits as pleasant as possible.
I qualified, with Honours, from the University of Sheffield in 2013; having also gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Education; a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Facilities at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow and a Diploma in Orthodontics.
I am trained to treat worn teeth that need rehabilitation as well as non-surgical management of Temporomandibular disorders and bruxism. (Jaz does not like to talk about it, but we’ll just drop this one in here – he was voted one of the Dentistry’s Top 50 in 2022 and also won at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards for the category of Teeth Whitening).
I have a very diverse background which has taken me from London to Sheffield to Singapore…and now to Tilehurst. I also teach other dentists in areas of advanced dentistry and am the enthusiastic host of Protrusive Dental Podcast which is listened to by Dentists in over 150 countries and ranks in the top 1.5% in podcasts on any genre. My wife is also a dentist, working at the Tilehurst Community dental clinic. When we are not working, our young son keeps us very busy.
Originally from Cheshire I first completed a BSc in Biology from the University of Leeds and then went on to graduate from the Peninsula School of Dentistry with a degree in dental surgery in 2012. After dental vocational training in Plymouth I worked in hospitals as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer in the Southwest and at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
In 2016 I passed the examinations and assessment required to become a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, part of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
I am passionate about general dental practice and ensuring that my patients are given the very best of care to achieve and maintain long-term oral health. In particular I enjoy improving patients’ smiles with minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. I recently completed a one year certificate course in Cosmetic Dentistry and Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry which has enabled me to deliver functional and aesthetic outcomes using the latest techniques.
Away from dentistry I am a keen mountain biker and I enjoy spending time on the Cornish coast as often as possible.
I absolutely love my job and I am passionate about truly listening to patients in order to deliver a bespoke oral health improvement plan that could help them achieve their long-term goals.
I qualified from Cardiff University and have worked in practices in Cardiff before joining the Triangle Dental Team. I am originally from sunny Malaysia and moved to the UK 8 years ago as I love the colder climate! =
I was honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist for the Best Young Dentist category in The Dentistry and Private Dentistry Awards 2022. Whilst I welcome these achievements, for me, success lies in how I make my patients feel and how I see their oral health improving.
Outside of dentistry, I love travelling and have done ice caving, glacier hiking and artic hunting for northern lights. I was not kidding when I said I loved the cold!
After qualifying from the University of Bristol in 2010, I completed further postgraduate training, first joining the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012, then obtaining a Masters degree in Dental Implantology in 2016. I regularly attend implant-related courses to learn new advanced techniques, and I now commit a large amount of my clinical time solely for dental implant treatment.
I have always believed that it is a great privilege to be able to help patients with their problems. It’s why, throughout my career, I have been so passionate about dental implants. I genuinely believe that dental implants can replace missing teeth to enhance a person’s quality of life: their self-confidence, their smile, their ability to chew and speak in comfort. At the core of my treatment philosophy is the belief that my patients deserve high quality care that should be delivered in a kind and gentle manner. I look forward to meeting patients, who have been referred to me, at Triangle Dental.
In my personal life I enjoy spending time and travelling with my wife and 2 boys. When time allows, I enjoy playing cricket and other outdoor sports, as well as training for my brown belt in Jujitsu.

Dental Health Educators
Our team of qualified dental health educators manage our preventive dental unit, where children (and their parents) are shown how to brush their teeth and gums and learn about the importance of a healthy diet. This can really make a difference and help children to achieve a healthy mouth for life.
We’ve designed the preventive dental unit with children in mind and so it’s fun and does not feel ‘clinical’.

Practice Manager
Dee Sadler joined Triangle Dental in 1984, initially as a receptionist, but soon took on the role of manager the practice. She makes sure that the practice runs smoothly and that we comply with our professional responsibilities – and always with a smile. She is a long-standing member of the Association of Dental Administrators and Managers and works closely with other practice managers in the area.
Dentists can’t care for our patients without support from our team of experienced nurses and receptionists – some would say that they are worth their weight in gold!
