Denplan Essentials
Designed for patients who want to budget for routine examinations, X-rays and dental hygiene appointments.
What is included?
- Dental examinations at the frequency advised
- Dental hygiene visits at the frequency advised
- Dental X-rays
- Preventive dental advice and therapy
- 10% discount on eligible private treatment
What is not included?
- Fillings, crowns, bridges and dentures
- Prescriptions
- Specialist referrals and specialist treatment
- Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment
Can I join straight away?
Denplan Care
Provides broader cover for clinically necessary routine dental treatment, according to the terms of your plan.
What is included?
- Clinically necessary dental examinations
- Clinically necessary hygiene visits
- Dental X-rays
- Necessary fillings and extractions
- Periodontal treatment and preventive care
- Crowns, dentures and bridges, excluding laboratory fees
- Incisor and premolar root canal treatment
What is not included?
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Specialist referrals and specialist treatment
- Treatment by someone other than your registered dentist
- Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment
- Molar root canal treatment and retreatments
What is required before joining?
Denplan fee bands
Your fee band is determined following an assessment of your oral health and the care we expect you to require. Most adults joining Denplan Care fall into bands B or C.

Denplan Care
Monthly prices shown exclude the optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover.
Family discounts and optional cover
Adult family membership
Discounts are available when adult family or group members living at the same address register at the same practice and pay through one Direct Debit.
Optional emergency and implant cover
Worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover can be added for 60p per month.
Denplan Implant Upgrade Cover is available only alongside the emergency and injury cover. For £2.25 per month, it can provide a contribution towards dental implants following a dental injury resulting in tooth loss.

Already registered with us?
- Mention Denplan at your next routine examination or contact our reception team.
- Your dentist will discuss whether Denplan Essentials or Denplan Care is the most appropriate option.
- Essentials can usually begin without completing treatment first, while Care requires you to be dentally fit before joining.
- We will confirm your fee band and help arrange your registration and monthly Direct Debit.
New to Triangle Dental?
- Book a New Patient Consultation so we can assess your oral health and understand your dental needs.
- Your dentist will explain the differences between Essentials and Care and recommend the most suitable option.
- Denplan Essentials can usually begin straight away and includes a 10% discount on eligible treatment.
- For Denplan Care, any necessary treatment must be completed before registration.
