Facial aesthetics at Triangle Dental

Facial aesthetics

Our facial aesthetics clinicians take time to understand your concerns, assess your facial features and discuss the options that may be appropriate for you.

A natural approach to facial aesthetics

Small changes can sometimes make a meaningful difference to how you feel about your appearance. The key is knowing when treatment may help, how much is appropriate and how to keep the result balanced and natural.

At Triangle Dental, facial aesthetics begins with a conversation. We listen to what concerns you, assess your facial features and discuss what may — or may not — be appropriate.

Our aim is not to change the way you look. We focus on subtle, considered treatment that respects your facial features, proportions and natural expression.

Thinking about facial aesthetics?

Bianca Badenhorst explains our approach to facial aesthetics, some of the concerns patients come to us with and what you can expect when you visit Triangle Dental.

What would you like to address?

You do not need to know which treatment you need before you visit. Tell us what concerns you and we can talk through the options together.

Fine lines

If facial lines are making you feel tired or older than you feel, we can assess the area and discuss whether treatment may be appropriate.

Changes in facial volume

Facial proportions naturally change over time. Carefully planned treatment may help restore balance where volume has been lost.

Lip shape & definition

Treatment can be planned to refine shape, definition or proportion while respecting the natural characteristics of your lips.

Facial balance

Rather than focusing on one feature in isolation, we consider the face as a whole and how different areas relate to one another.

Facial aesthetics FAQs

Answers to some of the questions patients commonly ask before their first consultation.

Will I still look natural?

That is our aim. We prefer subtle, balanced changes that respect your existing facial features and preserve natural expression. Your clinician will discuss the result you would like before recommending any treatment.

Do I need to know which treatment I want?

No. Many patients simply have something about their appearance they would like to discuss. Your consultation allows us to understand the concern first and then consider whether an appropriate treatment option exists.

Who will carry out my treatment?

Facial aesthetics treatments at Triangle Dental are provided by our trained facial aesthetics clinicians, Bianca Badenhorst and Dr Chris Read.

Does treatment hurt?

Sensation varies according to the treatment and area being treated. Our clinicians have extensive experience carrying out precise injections and will explain what to expect and how we aim to keep treatment as comfortable as possible.

How long does an appointment take?

This varies according to the treatment being considered. Your clinician will explain the expected appointment time as part of your individual treatment plan.

How long will the results last?

This depends on the treatment, the area being treated and the individual patient. Facial aesthetics treatments are generally not permanent, and your clinician will discuss likely longevity and any maintenance that may be required.

Are there risks or side effects?

All clinical treatments carry potential risks and side effects. These vary according to the treatment being considered and will be discussed with you during consultation before you decide whether to proceed.

Can I return to work afterwards?

Many facial aesthetics treatments involve relatively little downtime, although swelling, redness or bruising can occur. Your clinician will explain what to expect and any aftercare precautions you should follow.

Is there a booking deposit?
