Denplan
We offer our patients the opportunity to take advantage of Denplan – the UK’s leading dental payment plan specialist – allowing you to spread the cost of your routine dental care. We offer patients two different Denplan options. These are Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials.
What is Denplan Care?
- Monthly payment plan covers all your routine dental treatment.
- After an initial assessment, you will be placed into one of five fee categories.
- Includes worldwide dental emergency and injury cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p
- You have to be dentally fit at the point of registration. Any treatment required will have to be completed before registration (See our private fees)
What does Denplan Care include?
- Dental check-ups (as clinically necessary)
- Dental hygiene visits (as clinically necessary)
- Dental x-rays
- Necessary fillings
- Necessary extractions
- Periodontal treatment
- Preventive dental advice and therapy
- Crowns, dentures and bridgework (excluding lab fees)
- Root canal treatment (Incisor and Premolar)
Denplan Care does not cover:
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
- Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist
- Orthodontic treatment, dental implants, cosmetic treatment
- Molar Root Canal Treatment and any retreatments
Denplan Care Fees
Your monthly payment is based on your oral health and the care and treatment we expect to provide to you in the next 12 months.
Each person is banded into one of five fee bands according to quantity of existing restorations visible in the mouth e.g. Root Canal treatments, Crowns, Oral Hygiene status etc. A check up will be needed for this initial assessment. Our current fees for these bands are (most adults fall into bands B or C):

There is no joining fee to sign up to Denplan Care at our practice.
What is Denplan Essentials?
- Monthly payment plan to help budget for routine dental treatment
- Monthly fees cover check-ups, x-rays and dental hygiene visits
- 10% discount off our normal fees for dental treatment
- Includes supplementary worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p
- You do not have to be dentally fit to register on this scheme
- No joining fee
What does Denplan Essentials include?
- Dental check-ups (frequency decided by your Dentist)
- Dental hygiene visits (frequency decided by your Dentist)
- Dental x-rays
- Preventive dental advice and therapy
- 10% discount on further private treatment within the practice (excluding cosmetic and specialist treatment) (See our private fees)
Denplan Essentials does not cover:
- Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (you will receive a 10% discount off our normal fees)
- Prescriptions
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
- Orthodontic treatment, dental implants, cosmetic treatment
Denplan Essentials Fees
We offer four schemes for Denplan Essentials so, depending on your dental health and the frequency of visits required, you will be placed into one of the below fee categories:

There is no joining fee to sign up to Denplan Essentials at our practice.
Denplan implant upgrade cover
Our Denplan Implant Upgrade Cover is an option which is only available when you choose Denplan Supplementary Insurance. For £2.25 per month this cover provides payment towards dental implants in the event of a dental injury resulting in tooth loss.
Family membership
Discounts are available when more than one member of a family (or group) at a single address are registered with any Denplan dentist at one practice, and payments are made under one Direct Debit. The following discounts apply:
- Two family/group members – 5%
- Three family/group members – 10%
- Four or more family/group members – 15%
